OUR HISTORY
Hello, I’m Jim Nelle, Owner & Founder of Roof One LLC. I opened my first location in Oakland County Michigan in 2001, after working my way up to Operations Manager for a large roofing company I decided to pursue the American Dream and started my own business, Roof One. I figured if I did top quality work at an affordable price and stand behind my work, my business would grow. From Michigan, I opened a branch in St. Louis where my dad was born and my sister and brother-in-law live, then I opened my four states option with the main office in Carthage, MO. Several years ago, I sold my St. Louis location to my brother-in-law and his business partner and in 2019 I sold all my interest in my Michigan location to my business partner. In 2017, after 3 years in Carthage, I opened my final locations in Carthage and Springfield MO serving the Four States Region. I’ve fallen in love with this part of the country, people are friendly, price of living is good, I’ve found a great church, Second Baptist Church in Springfield. This area is where I plan to live and retire.

OUR STANDARDS
My background is in roofing, for the last 38 years I’ve been in the roofing business. So many of today’s roof repair company’s are great marketers but don’t understand all the elements in a balanced roofing system, decking, underlayment, ventilation, nailing proper shingles, flashing, drip edge and ice & water shield were needed all must re-done properly for your warranties to be valid and your roof to last.
